My roommate is such a disgusting pig

I don't know how many of you have roommates of if you ever had this problem, but if you have, how have you dealt with it.

First of all, I live in the townhouses on Rez so I live with three others who I did not pick. I live with two girls and one guy, a Scotsman. Now, the girls are okay, they don't make a mess, but the guy, oh wow, he is such a pig.

I can understand (well not understand it, but let it slide) having roommates who don't want to do dishes they leave them for a bit. But not this guy, he leaves food in a pot on the stove for days at a time, he has dirty dishes pilling up the sink and they are there for weeks tell he has no more dishes and he has to absolutely wash them. When he does wash them, instead of drying them, he just turns them upside down on the counter.

He definitely does not do any general cleaning of the townhouse. But we don't either, because of him. If we do, it just goes to waste because he makes it messy again in a few days.

Now the worst part of him is that I have to share a bathroom with him. Every morning I get to wake up to the mess he leaves behind in the bathroom and it is not something I want to clean up. For example, every time he showers he doesn't rinse out the bathtub and I always get to see hundreds of hairs from him, and not from his head either. Definitely not a good way to state the morning. As well, whenever he shaves, doesn't rinse the sink out after so I get to find his shavings all over the counter and sink and this is really fucking disgusting.

Have any of you had roommates who didn't clean up after themselves? If so, how did you get them to clean up without telling them directly. I know if I say it directly to him I know I will say something unpleasant to him and it won't make living in this townhouse fun for anyone.

My brother sound like your roommate. He would leave pubic hair on the toilet seat, his chip bags and dirty dishes on the desk, and when there is no room on the desk he would dump his garbage onto the floor. The best thing to do is just to chip in and get a maid. People don't usually change after reminding them one time only.

i had a roommate exactly like that except worse cause she left make up all over the bathroom in addition to stubble from shaving everywhere, in addition to the disgusting dishes that fruit flies would start to live from from being left out so long

there was no way other than asking her to clean up her shit to get her to, besides extorting her, no you cant use any of my stuff until you clean that up, or im taking my ethernet cable im running through my room back until you clean the bathroom up, or do you mind cleaning your dishes up its embarassing when people come over etc
