Midterms in Distance Ed Courses
I think its kind of fun finally getting to see whos in your class....at my last one I was like hey those two guys are cute, and hey I coulda been tutorial friends with this girl.
Also, hey I bet thats the class keener, and I bet that person would be the one who makes overly redundant remarks of other peoples ideas to participation marks.

Writing ENG199 on Friday.
As you already know from the other post...
EricJ & randomuser: see you tomorrow. I'll be sitting up front (puffy jacket, tuque, glasses)
I think i'm ready for it unless he tests us on the virtues of each graphics format and how pages should be laid out. If he tests us on just code, i'll be fine.
btw the Python part is not easier
I took this class a year ago and I remember questions on the midterm where like, "find 8 invalid xhtml tags in this section of code" or "write the xhtml for this page".
trying to make whats in your head match what you see on the screen is hard, unless you have hours and hours to go through and test tags to know how they work, maybe its easy for you
ive seen the practice midterms and they seem easy, but the last two assignments ive had to do i found difficult
Either way, I'll have a much easier time with that part of the course since it requires less creativity :)
i was asking people for a pen and calculus help
and the last one, i could only find two errors in the html :| i had to guess at the other two, i guessed the abbr html was depricated and something else
edit: wow, that actually works.
the last error was so blatently obvious that if you didn't get it, you really should not be taking the course
It took me forever to even find any errors..
the abbr tag just threw me off...when i dont know what the tag does how am i supposed to know how its used i thought that was a cheap shot on their part
