Best Place for a Date
I think the best place to go on a date is somewhere low key. I mean, to me it's more fun to grab a burger and hang out somewhere where you can really talk than to mess with the big get all dressed up for a nice dinner, worry about the check, and then sit through a movie where you can't really talk anyway.

The whole 'dinner and a movie' thing doesn't work for the first few dates though - till you really hit some similar interests and can discuss the movie afterwards.
although i do like the whole dinner and a movie thing for other reasons!! i mean its the total package... good conversations over dinner and then an excuse to cuddle during the movie:tongue:
if you live on campus and havent had a chance to take a look around... perhaps an evening picnic is in mind? now adays its a bit chilly at night but if the weather picks up then why not go sit on the grass?
a short walk from the res area will take you to the horizon's restaurant area. there is plenty of grass and at night the view is spectacular because you can see all the lights of vancouver.
a nice bottle of wine, and perhaps try cooking something? im sure even the fact that you took time to make grilled cheese or pb&j will be taken in a thoughtful way.. or if you like to cook you can let your imagination go wild =)
after you finish eating you can just sit there the rest of the evening enjoying the view and having a chance to talk. if it gets cold it offers you a chance to be "chivalrus" and offer her your jacket?
at the end of the evening you can offer to chaperone her to the bus stop or drive her back home or even escort her back to her dorm? im sure u'll be rewarded with a good night kiss... (right ladies?)
cheers ^^
Back to the topic, the perfect date for me would be play at an amusement park and a quiet dinner with a romantic movie afterwards.
