anyone had crim103 with dr. boyanowsky before? i seriously have no idea how to study for his midterm. There's just too much stuff that he didn't talk about but is on the reading list.
I'm the same as you, got the mid-term tomorrow. From reading other posts on this forum and being in tutorials, the mid-term is mostly on the stuff from the lectures. The Bartol text is also on it, but more heavily on the lectures, you need to know the text to draw examples I guess.
Study his fuckin' notes, people! I've posted hints and pointers on this forum about this specific course in not too long ago. It's almost guaranteed that you won't be asked anything from the textbook. You'll likely need to draw examples from Mass Murder and how the example corroborates a given theory. When I took the course, the midterm was three big questions; the more detailed your notes are and the more you study the notes, the likelier it is that you will do well.

i took dist ed for this course.. and everything was just out of the book.. the final was like.. 40MC and a essay question.. personally.. i thought the book was crap.. way too much detail and often goes off topic... =(
i just wrote that midterm today...it honestly wasnt that hard, although i fucking studied so much shit that wasnt even on there...it was basically read the entire book, and then only study the parts he goes over in lecture, and know mass murder to draw examples as insatiable said, id be surprised if i got anything lower than a B on that midterm today
