Why do asian girls hug so much?

At school I see asian girls that are cute and they always run around making a big scene hugging any friends or acquaintance that they see. They are so loud about it you can't not notice it. They are like "Oh Hi!!" as they give big hugs to some guy they know or a girl that is a friend. They really go overboard.

Why are they like that?

    It's a cultural thing. It's not the ones who were born here, and you'll notice that it's also not the Chinese chicks that do it, it's mostly the Japanese and Koreans. Just part of the culture.

    Hmm... not always true. I don't hug everyone I meet.
    Some girls are just super friendly. YOu just happen to see all the asian ones :)

    I don't know anyone who does this. I thought Canadians girls were the ones who hug each other.

    it's only a problem when they're not hugging you.
    i personally never encounter this problem you speak of because i've never seen asian girls hug other girls.
