    :omg:

Have you been living under a rock since Cro Cop's last two fights?

true mirko cro cop has been defeated in his previous two fights against cheik kongo and gabriel gonzaga. but that does not erase the fact that he's still a very formidable opponent with his striking abilities and has graced the PRIDE/K-1 as one of the top 2 fighters in the world.

but if we're looking at specifically UFC bouts, he has disappointed me, although i believe he has one or two more fights under UFC contract before he retires.

Cro Cop was never a top-tier fighter in K1: he never won a K1 Grand Prix and he only made it to the final once in 1999 (when he was beaten by a better Ernesto Hoost). He was certainly better than average in K1, but far from exceptional as strictly a kickboxer.

I don't deny he's had success as a PRIDE fighter, but unfortunately his success has usually been overshadowed the success of Fedor Emelianenko. Emelianenko proved that he was better, but I would still place Cro Cop in the top three when he was in PRIDE (either second or third, depending on where you place Nogueira).

Anyways, those are my two cents :teeth:

well moving on, who do you enjoy watching?

i enjoyed watching sean the shark sherk for his relentlessness, until he was dropped from UFC for steroids lol.

I'm actually more of a K1 fan. Apart from Jerome Le Banner and Buakaw Por. Pramuk, I'm not actually partial to anyone, I just think K1 matches are very exciting to watch.

The UFC cards have stunk lately, but back when UFC was good (from UFC 21 up until maybe one or two years ago), I liked to watch Vitor Belfort, Andrei Arlovski, and Randy Couture (as a light heavyweight, not as a heavyweight). I'm sure there were others, but those are the only ones who come to mind.

i actually find it hard to believe only two people on this entire forum are interested in MMA lol. guess nobody likes the art of violence.

I'll give the victory to Lesnar againt Mir. Mir is decent, but far from exceptional. I'm about 90% certain that it'll be a wrestling match between those two, since both are more wrestling-oriented. Of course I'm no expert, and anything could happen in an MMA match :teeth:

I'm pretty excited though, since I'll be watching it live :shade:

I believe that Lesner didn't realize that in UFC as compared to the WWE, things might actually hurt...

lol but you have to admit he was dishing out some pretty painful punches don't you think, it looked like mir was losing for most of it and he baited the fuck out of lesnar into ground game.

Once Lesnar gets some octagon experience, he's going to be killer! He dominated Mir for most of the fight, and just got a little too excited, giving up his leg. I can't wait to Lesnar fight again, and sure hope CroCop will come back to the UFC to finish up his remaining 3 fights on his contract. My other favourites include Sean Sherk, and Ortiz.
