Question: Last week of a semester

I am a first year student at SFU in the Tech One program here at Surrey now. For next semester (Spring 2007), I will have to take the remaining week after March 28th, since I have to attend my sister's wedding overseas. Does anyone know (particularly those in the TechOne previously) if my reasoning will be good enough for omitting remaining assignments or even quizzes in Tech 101, IAT 101, and CMPT (???) (Whatever is after CMPT 157)?

    It depends on the instructor/professor.

    Just ask on the first day.

    A majority of them probably don't mind, unless of course you write like that on assignments.
