how many classes hours in total do u have per week?

edited February 2008 in General
I am asking this because when i looked at my schedual this morning, i found out, i have three courses, and they are all 300 levels. In total i spend
2+1+3+5=11 hours per week, and I do not have class on Friday, so on average i spend 2.75 class hours in school.
I sleep 10 hours everyday, and i have around 14 hours left, but only spend around 3 hours in school. i guess i should use my time efficiently.

Plus i do not work right now. The rest of the time in a day, i spend on watching tv or internet, and sometimes do some reading.
How about you guys?

    15 credits = 15 hours
    but 3 are distance ed...
    so 12 hours at school
    3 days a week, 4 hours each day, 12-430.

thats not bad. So what do u do afterschool?
  • edited January 2008
go home and read, do assignments, stuff with girlfriend.

I got 1-2 5-10 page assignments due every week with a lot of reading, lol.

taking 4 research classes will probably be the death of me, lol

18 hours of class, all spread evently across the week. I couldn't ask for a better semester, I was able to take all the courses that I need and my class hours are, to a degree, convenient.

man i just tallied stuff due this semester
    i got 28.
Each around 5 pages, the final ones around 15.. haha
    god

12 hours of class spread over the week, plus one distance ed course...not that bad, but I couldn't get some tutorials/labs I wanted this semester, so I have 6 hours worth of breaks spread over the week. Not my thing.

    I spend 5 + 0 + 7 + 0 + 3 hours a week in the classroom. So a total of 15 hours... yet I am doing a 16 credit hour semester. A lighter load.
  • edited January 2008
I'm doing a lighter load this semester too, but it's ironic because these classes have homework every week, where as when I took 5 classes I only have light homework once every month. Sigh.

I guess I go to school... around 9 hours, but I'm taking 12 credits. Haha. I also have one DIST ed class but that doesn't really count.

17 hours including everything. Also one distance ed class

Monday and Wednesday are 5 hours class +3 hours break
Friday is 7 hours class + 1 hour break
so I am generally at school 10:30-6:20 MWF

    1030-430 tuesday
    1030-1230 130-330 thurs

so 10 total hours of class, but i spend 11 at school

    4 + 3 + 4 + 3 + 1 = 15 hours in the classroom, not including one distance ed course i'm taking. i'm also TAing, so...i spend more like 19 hours in a classroom setting. :/

lol but if i count how much time i spend at school in general because of breaks and stuff, the count goes to 26 hours.................which is relatively less than high school i guess...

i usually read for an hour after my classes too so sky trains aren't so packed.. so i guess 15 hours lol
  • edited January 2008
lol Triple, that's a shitload of assignments you have to do :omg:
part of me wants to tell you to get the hell off of TalkSFU so you don't fall behind, but i think you're the comedic relief in these forums so......quite a predicament lol only solution: internet beer.

speaking of beer, SFU needs more places that serve alcohol...not just highland pub, yeesh.

You sleep 10 hours a day...............? Lucky for you....I often spend 10 hours at work 4-5 days a week in addition to school
  • edited January 2008
i know. i slept too much. i am trying to get a job asap.
    Haha

3 courses (9 credits) - 9 hours of classes. They're all evening, and I got two jobs @ SFU working a total of 28 hours/week. So 37 hours + some break times @ school.
  • edited January 2008
What jobs do you have at SFU? I bet you get paid a lot =P It's ironic how you're at school even when you don't have class lol.

Yeah, I have work everyday there, and class Tues/Wed/Thurs.

I work at that Language Learning Centre computer lab (near Images Theatre), and at the library. It would be interesting if you saw me at the LLC haha.
  • edited January 2008
Hmm, what do you do at the lab?
