What I learned from psychology.
As we all know, psychology helps us to understand thought processes and how they relate to behaviour. I have learned a lot about human thinking and mental development through my minor in Psychology, especially in regards to why people think and act the way they do.
However, one thing they DON'T teach you in class is that understanding yourself is important before you can begin to understand others. It's easy to memorize vocabulary and theories, but it's not easy to apply these things to ourself and come out with an accurate picture of who we are and why we think the way we think. Psychology actually gave me so much to think about that I had to take a semester off to sort everything out. Now that I have, I am confident that one of the most important parts of life is knowing yourself, from which you can decide where you want to be in the future.

I've only taken one Psychology course so far but I loved every lecture. Hoping to minor in Psyc. You definitely have me looking forward to the classes!
