Hey guys, what do you think of Humanities 101 ? Im thinking of taking it since i couldn't get into some other classes becasue of my late enrollment date.
Before I answer, I would like to know if you are actually Professor Chris Jones herself because your user name arouse suspicison. I have to make sure you are not a plant or something.
I have answers to your question as well as a sweet HUM 101 textbooks offer for you. Without spoiling the fun, Humanities 101 is heavily textbook oriented. Also, good writing skills and interest in reading are assets in doing well.
lol im not a professor. I'm a first year student trying to get into business. I need a 4th class to fit with my schedual and came across humanities 101. Just wanted to know if it was a class worth taking. I just don't want it to hurt my gpa.

The course is a writing intensive course and also a "reading intensive" course in my book. Also, the course is nothing like Humanities, in fact, this course should not even be a humanities course because it deals too much with a BS academia known as philosophy. Therefore, if you hate reading, dead guys telling you how you should live you life, and writing, avoid it at all cost.
no i haven't, i ll check them out. Right now im looking for courses i can take on monday or friday. Also, i've looked at arch 100 in burnaby on monday taught by angela d' something. How come it doesn't show a final exam date? There is another arch 100 class with a final exam date on the 19th, but it interferes with one of my other exams.

For the love of god, enroll in Professor Catherine D’Andrea's Arch-100 immediately! She is the nicest/ coolest female professor I have so far and she is a great lecturer. It doesn't show a final is because, well, the course doesn't have a final. There is only 6 seats left, ENROLL!!!
Sorry i meant tutorials.. lol.. there are tutorials right ?
EDIT: i don't see any tutorials either :O haha
*Sigh* The Department of Archaeology doesn't have tutorials. You will understand the norms and modus operandi of different departments once you spend enough time up here...
Well, that would be because 2 of my friends and I have enrolled into that class :). Thanks for your help. Also another question, how come it says the teacher is andela d'andrea, and not catherine. Error i suppose?

You are very welcome, I hope my recommendation will not disappoint you. By the way, I have no idea as to why it said Andela D'andrea. I know her full name is Dr. A. Catherine D'Andrea. Maybe the A stands for Andela?
Should I take ARCH 100 with Ross Jamieson or D'Andrea? The class with Jamieson works with my schedule muuuch better but has a final, while D'Andrea's class is split into two days (so it messes up my schedule a bit) but doesn't have an exam.

There are now only three spots left in ARCH-100.
