I want cute boots!

edited January 2008 in General
But i dont know where to look for the really. So this thread is more for the girls on here than the guys i guess (guys can post if they really to tho lol).

Do you girls know where to find nice cute winter boots? I went to ALDO the other day and they just didnt have what i wanted :(

Looking for black boots, no heel, that cut off just before the knee. To be worn over jeans.

Maybe ALDO just didnt have a very good selection when i was there, but i always thought that they would be the best place to go to. Anyone have any other stores that they go to?

ps post pics of boots too if you want!

pps this is a call for a beauty/fashion forum!

HAHA... I thought you were looking for ones past the knee because of that picture. Do you want suede ones? Or leather ones? or patent ones (haha)? Flat, heels (stiletto? wedge?) or a little bit of heel? Haha... I'm really picky about my boots.

lol, ummm im looking for black boots, no heel, most likely in suede. I dont like leather ones. Im looking for cute winter boots....something that will go nicely overtop of jeans.

I just have no idea of what stores to go to for boots :( Does anyone know of any good stores that sell boots?

I could get to metro. Park Royal is the nearest mall to me. ALDO there didnt seem to have a good selection when i looked, but i'll go look again.

Yay for hooker boots! I actually havent had a nice pair of boots in a long time (ones without a stiletto heel i mean). I'll try metro.

oh.. i forgot to mention this earlier.. have your tried looking through aldo's website? they have more selections there.. some which you don't see in their stores.. i agree aldo's selections this year is kind of disappointing but it doesn't hurt to look around..=)

have you heard of Gravitypope? they're located on W. 4th and Yew St. in Vancouver. http://www.gravitypope.com/ to check out their online catalogue.

really nice & trendy stuff there, expensive but they have a pretty good selection. most of the time i go there to oggle at the shoes...then i try to find similar styles at other stores for a more student-friendly price teheh

i may have stated this before. and i apologize but this is one of those debateable topics such as whether you like the croc shoes or not

personally, i don't find these too attractive on a female. they may catch the eye, but not in the good way.

hahah whenever i see those boots around, it just conjures up the image of someone buying a pair of gumboots and decorating it with wrapping paper.

ps. illicit is ballin' in his shoes. do you clean them often? white shoes are so hard to keep from getting dirty...

i did some prep work with the leather polish before i started wearing them outdoors. makes the buffs easier to get out, and the dirt as well. unfortunately they're from the past season, i need suggestions for winter season shoes..

Oh...I didnt think he was serious about those shoes.

Leather polish? Last season? Are you kidding me?
What guy puts that kind of effort into shoe buying?
Illicit, those shoes look like something a rich old man would wear to the country club.

I have exactly 2 pairs of not-exceedingly-puffy (if that makes sense to anyone) skate/casual shoes.

oh no you din't. y'all don wanna get up all in this. straight up.

i got them from aldo and they look really formal in that picture because the picture makes the shoe look very sharp and rigid, but in real life it's a lot more casual cause it's actually rounded out a bit more and softer. don't know bout you but i get compliments from girl - friends.

This pic... well, it is not the boots that would have me looking. But if we are to do it, keep 'em on.
