SFU entrance scholarship

edited December 2007 in General
For the 3500$ entrance scholarship at SFU, the website says you need a 90+% average. Is that an average of ALL the courses your taking in highschool? also if you get 89.9% would they round it to 90, or would you just be out of luck.

I had an 86 or 87 average and they still gave me the $3500 scholarship.

It's pretty subjective so, if you had 89.9% that would be considered the same as 90% in my opinion. I don't know how they calculate that though, I'm guessing it would only be using the marks from provincially examinable classes. Try calling them at scholarships: 778.782.4970 they will be able to tell you

    I had 87.4 average - and I too got $500.
I believe they calculate average of 5 highest courses from table 1, 2, 3.
