Anyone Doing Systems Engineering?

edited December 2007 in General
Is anyone here furthering in Systems Engineering? I googled the field recently and was confused about what systems engineers do and if there are even any good-paying jobs.

I want to do something related mechanics and robotics and the systems option was the only branch of Engineering at SFU, i think, that has a "Intro. to robotics" class.

Should I switch to Electronics engineer instead?

    Systems Engineering is Computing Science
    Electronics Engineering is Engineering

Mecatronics is a branch of engineering here at SFU where you build robots and ENSC 182 is a course in slurrey in the spring where you can build robots out of lego for the entire course.

I wanted to take that course just for the sake of building robots out of lego for an entire semester but the fact that it would require me to go to slurrey three times a week for labs, tutorials and lectures as none were on the same day, turned me off.
