What are some easy non math b-sci courses?

edited June 2008 in General
I have to fulfill my requirements for two sci courses.

Im taking right now PSYC 280 and CMPT 165, well im enrolled in them for next semester, I'm going to ditch psych 280 if I can get a seat in kin 143 after nov 30. Anyone know any others?

Ive heard stuff about the ARCH class origins of people but it doesnt work with my schedule.

ARCH 131 got a lot of memorization, kind of like a history course. I took it under Professor Galdikas and I blew this once in a life time opportunity when I got a C+.

CHEM 192 is pretty awesome. You don't even have to pay attention in class because this is a self-research orientated course where you get to choose your own topic for pretty much anything. The best part is that Q comes with this course.

I suggest when choosing courses to fulfill your WQB, you should choose science courses that have both a Q and a B-Science. That way, you get two credits in one course.

Here is the list for SFU courses designated as Breadth.

I heard KIN140 is easy memorization.
Oh and if you can, try to take HSCI (I forgot the number). The one about sexual behaviours... I heard it was a good class. Too bad they're not offering it Spring '08.
And ARCH100? Dude... Don't take it. It sucks =(
If you're good at rocks and minerals from grade 4, I suggest EASC101. It's an okay course, interesting prof, but you hafta do labs (downside).

I took KIN 140 distance ed and it's all memorization. The good thing is that the content is about practical issues, so what you learn is actually applicable in real life. Only problem is that KIN courses usually fill up really fast.

Another choice is PSYC X99. My friend took it and while it seems like it's a lot of work, the actual workload isn't that bad. She got an easy A+ in that course!

I'll be taking CMPT165 next semester though. I hope it's as easy as everyone says...

If you think CMPT 165 is hard then you pretty much fail at life and don't deserve to be in university.

Is CHEM 191/192 okay? I want to hit both my Q and Science requirements. I keep hearing from people to never take PHIL, PSYC, or CHEM courses... which sucks 'cause that means i can't ever fufil my Q and Science requirements like this O_o

    I'm an Arts student

Cmpt 120 would be easier. It also counts as a B-Sci and Q breadth.

    It's introduction to programming.

You can usually get around pre-requisites if you talk to the faculty advisor.
