Holy shit it got dark early today...

IT GOT EARLY* (typo)

So I got out of tutorial today at 520 and im walking in the AQ and I walk by one of the glass windows that look outside before the renaissance coffee area and I was thinking why is it black out? Why did they put curtains up are they doing construction...

Then I walked outside near ASSC and I realized it was just pitch black, its my first semester at SFU is it really dark up there or is it just me

    It got dark early down here in Vancouver too :)

    The cause is probably daylight saving. It was getting dark out at around 6:30ish before the switch in the time so it makes sense.

    Well think about it, it's built on the top of a mountain in the middle of a forest! It feels like we're at Harry Potter Secondary sometimes lol... and I think where you were walking doesn't have too many streetlights outside because it's all brand new...and plus its winter so it gets dark early!

    Who would think that turning the time back an hour would make it darker an hour earlier...

    well i was aware of daylight savings, maybe i just wasnt aware how dark it gets away from the downtown core i havent seen darkness like that for a long time

    yea usually there is a tad of light when i leave work at 530, but today it was dark! bah and plus the fact its gettin really cold lately too /sad face
