CMPT 275 or CMPT 300? ARCH 100 or LING 100?

Which ones are better: CMPT 275(J.Regan) or CMPT 300(Vaughn)? ARCH 100(D'Andrea) or LING 100(tbd)?

    i personally would take 300, but only cuz i avoid regan like the plauge...

    and take ling 110, muuucchh easier than ling 100...

    CMPT 275 is heavy on group work, and for Regan (when I took it), you pair up w/ a partner, and then you are paired up with another group + 1 or 2 more people at random to form the group.

    well i know this guy who took it and failed it, then took 110 and got an A....dunno if its just him but you know...also i took 110 and it IS easy, cant validata if 100 is hard tho!

    I've taken CMPT-275 with Reagan. It is a lot of group work. Weekly meetings. Deadlines. All that good stuff. She's one of those lecturers who reads off of powerpoint slides. Often times this does get mundane. I also found her exams required a whole lot of writing. I tend to be on the slower side though.

    I also took CMPT-300 with Brad Bart. His midterms were very fair. Final was tough. The assignments got progressively harder. I spent hours on end on some of them. It's a great course though, you learn a bundle. Being familiar with C and Unix will certainly help.
