canadian passports- fast

Quick question- I need to get a passport, by at least mid Nov.. Does anyone have any experience with getting a passport lately. How much time did it take you to get it ( walk in ). Any Helpful info would be greatly appreciated.

    I went in to the passport office in Richmond a couple weeks ago to do mine. It took about 30 minutes. Just make sure you have everything filled out before you take it to the passport office. They said it would be mailed out to me and I should recieve it in about 2-3 weeks.

    Mine was a bit weird - I went in to the Sinclair Centre one, paid by credit card, and it took from June 13 to July 20 or 26, which was pushing it for the alleged two-week turnaround if you showed up in person and paid by CC.
