Upper Level Courses

edited October 2007 in General
I haven't declared my major yet, so will I be able to register for 300 level courses or will I be put on waiting list?

You will be able to register for upper division courses, unless you are trying to take an u.d. course in criminology (then you will be waitlisted). As far as I know, that is the only department that requires you to have declared your major. I know for sure sciences don't.

for psyc you need to be declared minor/major to be able to register at the start of the registration period

towards the last week or w/e, they open the reserve for everyone to register. Thats when you can register if you're not a declared major/minor in psych.

A lot of classes give priority to declared majors and minors for their upper division courses tho.
