Just dropped a class, will it affect my gpa?

The deadline to drop classes through gosfu is Oct. 9 and I've fallen extremely behind in a class I was in so I decided to drop it (especially since it's at 8:30 in the morning). I know I am going to get a WD on my transcript now, but does that affect my gpa at all? If anyone knows, it would be great

    it does not affect your gpa as they do not use wd towards your gpa calculation.

    yea it will just show a WD on the transcript and has no effect on GPA
