i hv a Econ 103 midterm on tuesday and I hv the prof Mohammad Akbar. I was wondering what format his first midterm follows, and how much theory and calculation is involved?

Akbar's first midterm was a piece of cake. Half the class aced the first one. But who knows, the midterms might have changed. I'm just surprised that he's even still teaching ECON 103 because he did such a horrible job.

Haha....... I had Akbar. You better watch out thought. Midterms and Quizzes are all easy, but that means a high average. When I took it the class average was 96%! I ended up with an 88%... and a C+. So make sure you do freaking better than the average!!!

^ Oh wow, that sucks! I did terribly in ECON 103. Worst part is, i did so well on all of the homework assignments, and when the midterm rolled around, i did fairly ok, but my prof (it wasnt Akbar, it was some other guy who i forget his name) docked so many marks on little details that my mark went way down. It was really unfair. We complained to the TA and to him and he basically said, "this is how i mark things. Is it fair? No. I cant have all of you getting good marks after all. You dont like it, too bloody bad."

    :/

    Not cool.
