Serving it right?

edited September 2007 in General
Me and my buddies started this new club called the adrenaline club, and we're planning to throw a keg party on campus some time this semester. However, we need a "serving it right" certificate in order to be able to serve booze. And the SFSS guy didn't really explain what it is. Does anyone know what it is? Do I have to take a course to get it?

Google "serving it right" and hit "I'm feeling lucky".

I hadn't heard of it before so I can't really offer advice.

    http://www.servingitright.com/

Basically it's a money-grab of the government but you need it because you cannot legally serve liquor in BC without it.

    what Insatiable said. :D
And Serving it right lasts your whole lifetime- you pay and do the test once.
It's reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally easy because you can refer back to the guide provided on the website. most of it is logical tho.

That's it? Everything is online? Well then I'll just get someone to take that course, problem solved. :D

Lol I worked in two restaurants and served liquor and didnt have one. They were like, "do you have serving it right?" I was like, "nope", and they said, "hmmm, oh well." But i think if the restaurant gets caught doing that with their servers, they can get in trouble.
