Im afraid of getting these stolen

Has anyone ever brought any valuable items to their dorms?

    Im so glad i never lived in a dorm.

    I would imagine you'd be fine bringing them, but your electric guitar might annoy a few people i would think.

    I lived in rez last year... and this year... and I am a rez orientation leader.

    Anyways no matter where you are living, you will have a room only you can access that is lockable. If you lock your room you should be fine. I wouldn't suggest bringing the first three items as they will be distracting but yes I have known people who have had all those items at rez and they were fine.

    I myself in my Tower room last year had my $2,000 laptop, couple hundred dvds, dvd player, snowboard, electronics like DS and iPod and it was all fine.

    The only time I heard someone had their stuff stolen was when they went to the kitchen and left their door unlocked, then they had their laptop stolen.
