Counter-Strike? Anybody?

edited January 2008 in General
I was just wondering... Does anyone play counter strike anymore?
or I donno if any of you played :P but I started finding interest in it again...
For those who know what I'm talking about, I still play 1.6, and haven't turned to source yet, and don't think I ever will...

send me a pm if you ever wanna go play =)

I only play CS: Source. I tried out CS 1.6, didn't like it too much. I prefer source. If you ever get that though, we'll play =P

The reason I don't like to play source is that they put way too much emphasis on graphics... though 1.6 the graphics isn't grade, the game play is and I can't say the same for source.

also, the weapon change is too slow in source...

I don't know if they've changed something in source since I haven't played it for over a year now... Though I might change to source, cos there's just more money there too =/

anyway, whatever game you play, gimme an add on Steam under the email address of... mengkit@welho.com

once my computer is fixed I would love to play some 1.6 with some peeps I know. It makes it more fun when you have a face to put with the frags you get. Wait... frags, that doom isn't it... or wait.. doom is gibs... frags is quake... dammit...

    I play 1.6 decayed lite. It's the non-steam hacked version of 1.6
I also play Source almost everyday when I'm home and bored with no homework and no work.

i agree, counter-strike 1.6 plays better and smoother but visually CS:Source is miles ahead and if your computer can stand it and still run smooth Source is the way to go they just basically re mastered the best online fps to date...

on another note i also agree that people should try team fortress 2 as this game is simply a masterpiece...10 years in the making and it came out unbelievable
