Program Planners

edited September 2008 in General
In case you are wondering which classes you need to take to for your major, these program planners are very handy guides. They show you clearly which classes are required so that you don't have to waste time taking classes you don't need.

The toughest thing about first year is usually not knowing what you want to do, but the sooner you figure it out the better. Over the years, I've noticed that students do best in classes that they are genuinely interested in. So take the time to figure out where you are going, and these program planners will help you get there.

I don't get it. Are there only 2 semesters in a year? Or are there 4 semesters? How long is one semester?

We're on a tri-mester system. (Fall, Spring and Summer).

Oh i see.. I heard there are some courses that aren't available to be taken in summer semester, is that true? If so, what are those courses that I can't take in summer semester?

go the departments own site within SFU...look for course outlines or course offerings and normally they have a layout...its not standardized so you may not find it in the same place for each department
