Ringing in my left air

edited July 2007 in General
About 1.5 weeks ago I woke up to this ringing noise in my left air. It has been ringing nonstop and is quite painful every now and then. I went to the doctor today and he cannot identify the problem :(. Can someone recommend me a doctor were I can do a check up. Thanks.

You mean "ear" right? Just want to be sure.

Looks like this is called "tinnitus" and can be caused by many things ranging from loud noises, earwax, weight loss, blood flow problems or a handful of diseases.

The BC Health Guide has an article on it here, which I'd definitely recommend checking out. See the info on Home Treatment as well.

Hope you feel better soon. Things like that, you don't realize how great they are until you develop a problem with them!
