Live Free or Die Hard Review...

Checked out Live Free or Die Hard this afternoon and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. The action is good and it's well paced, and other then an over the top sequence with an F-22 the special effects are well done.
There's good chemistry between Bruce Willis and Justin Long, and the movie is funny. (I especially enjoyed the President's Ransom demand.)
Timothy Olyphant is okay, but he's not in the same league as previous villian's portrayed by Alan Rickman, Jeremy Irons, or William Sadler.
Plus any movie with Maggie Q and Mary Elizabeth Winstead more than makes it worth while for the eye candy alone.
Overall a movie worth the $8.75 admission. It's only fault, having to sit through the trailer for Lindsay Lohan's new movie, but you can't really blame John McClane for that.
Next up: The Simpsons, Superbad, and The Bourne Ultimatum...
