Weird but cool illusion

baby_e's trippy illusion made me feel like i was on acid, but maybe this one will make you feel like you can control the world! haha or at least this image.

it's hard to explain, so read the paragraph on the site to figure it out.
basically when you figure it out, you can train your eyes to make the girl spin clockwise or counter-clockwise. it took me a while and i wasn't sure what was going on, but it actually works.

    That is awesome. I find that if I look at it in the right, that is, put it in the far right of my field of vision, it goes counter-clockwise. And then to change it back, I look straight at it, look down, like, away from the screen, and back up at it, it's turning clockwise again. I did this really quickly again and again, and surely enough, everytime I looked at it, it was spinning in a different direction.

    I went into the scary illusions category and clicked on the one that apparently the scariest one, and i chickened out cuz i thought that i might be scarred for life or something!

    Someone tell me cuz im too afraid to look, is this one really scary? http://www.moillusions.com/2006/04/really-scary-optical-illusion.html

    I wanna look but im at work right now and dont want be so scared that i scream or something, lol. Im a wuss i know :(

    Check this one out. Some people are convinced that another image is in between upon mouse-over, but you can stare at the mouseover image for a while, and it'll still stay in colour until you focus elsewhere.

    THAT IS SO AWESOME!
    i tried to stare at the picture after rolling over the image with my mouse for as long as I could--it was in colour until I blinked, then POOF it was back to black and white.
    ah i love these things :)

    hahah! I screamed & jumped at this one, because I was not expecting it. I wouldn't say its scary though, more surprising? Maybe it might be scary for some people. Don't do this if you are home alone at night & easily scared. I don't know if this is really an illusion though, is it?

    Ahh... So it's one of those ones where something pops out and screams at you. I hate those things...

    Oh wow that color and black and white one is really cool.

    I still cant bring myself to look at the one i posted. I know that something most likely pops out at you. I still remember when i was like 14 and i was at home alone in my basement on my computer and i got something in an email. It told you to look at the door in the picture and put your face really close to the screen cuz if you didnt, you wouldnt see the thing that was weird. They told you to look at it for about a minute and then you would figure it out. And then this really creepy ghost girl who was sooooo scary looking came running out of the door screaming and i freaked out so bad!!!! This one just reminds me of that.
