Long Distance Call?

Hey everyone! in one month in going to be at CFB comox out on north vancouver island. I was wondering since my cell phone number is 604 and the island is 250. Is it long distance to recieve/make calls from the island to the mainland? also does this include the unlimited/evening and weekends?

    That depends on your plan and the company you're with so you have to ask them. Technically, it is long distance so I would call *611 during the day and find out how much you will get charged and if its included in your plan. Are you flying out there?

    thanks, im driving up there but ill be there for 3 months thats why im a little concerned with my cell (im asian lol). By the way, i got a flying job out there. $$$$$
