Anyone have a cell phone that your happy with?
I've been looking at cel phones and can't find one with all the features I want.
All the features I like are available but not on a single phone. I'm thinking about sending an e-mail to Nokia and Motorola with my specs and seeing if they can make it work.
I doubt anything will happen but if I'm feeling frustrated then chances are others are too.
So the question is, have you been able to find a cel phone with everything you like or did you settle for something that kind of fits?

but my dream (yet realistic) phone would be a phone which includes:
-walkman phone
-3.2MP (or 5MP) w/ flash (not flashlight) and with lens cover.
-bright and a big screen.
-quad band w/ edge
-slider.
is that so much to ask? lol.
samsung + se combined would be cool. ;)
but aside from that, im satisfied with my phone w810i
i just talk and i listen to music, rest are nice and i dont really use any of the features aside from the cam from time to time
personally the E6 is doing really well for me right now.
beautiful screen
great solid build
touchscreen sophistication haha
easy to mod as it is a motorola
NEW interface ( not that old razr UI )
great music/battery quality
comes with 1gb SD memory, all for about 400.
what surprised me about this phone is the SIZE. for a touchscreen phone with a big 240x320 HIGH quality screen, the thickness of the phone is only 14.5 mm
and as for getting my hands on one, they aren't in Canada but i do know some people and i can get these phones from China ordered in, pm me if you're interested in one ;)
probably about 400 for a brand new one if not less.
enjoy the pictures.
iphone? sounds familiar..

ROKR E6 for $369. No tax. Store is down the street from Metrotown.
but currently i'm looking at the LG KE970 (SHINE)
around the same price range and even more of a head turner.
WTB: samsung u600

I was thinking about trading my N93 in, and put that towards the purchase of an N95, but I probably wouldn't get much for my N93. I mostly use my SE w810i right now, 'cause it's lighter and the music player is much better. Camera quality blows compared to my Nokia though.
We all need to get these bad boys again, they were indestructible:
-The 2MP Camera from motorola doesn't perform as well as expected
-texting, which is used often, has to be used with stylus, otherwise finger is fine for everything else. (you might be able to see how small the keys are on the screen from the pictures i posted)
-everything else is great ( eg. screen quality, sensitivity, solid build )
The reason i'm looking at a u600 is because
-good resale value
-slim / fashionable too
-3.2mp autofocus camera
only thing i'm worried about is the battery life is 3hrs, half of what my E6
has. and i've read the u600 plastic is really slippery and will tend to fall out of your hand if you're not careful..
theres one on revscene for 375 OBO which i might pick up..
I haven't read much about the U600, and i can't seem to find pictures taken with the camera. It does look pretty nice, though.
but the texting, theres the little keyboard, there's also a great handwriting recognition. the keyboard with a stylus makes it really fast, but the thing that i don't like is when you're driving you can't do it, nor on a bus cause it's so dam shaky. but yes you do get used to it and it works well.
Nokia 3360...CLASSIC lol
The only drawback of Li-ion batteries is that the older they get, the less charge they'll hold, regardless of the number of charge/discharge cycles it's been through.
I still make it a point to tell customers to give their battery a full charge the first time they use their cellphone, mainly because it puts them at ease and helps them get to sleep at night. It doesn't really do shit-all for the battery.
