If, the coure description says:

LING 221-3
Introduction to Phonology
The principles of phonological analysis. (lecture) Prerequisite: LING 130, 220.

like this,,,

I have to take Ling 130 and 220 first, right?

then, what's the minimum grade for those courses to take Ling 221???

I got D on Ling130... do I have to re-take it?

    a C-? probably, most of the courses requires a C- from prerequisite courses to get in
