How do I declare a major/minor?

edited April 2007 in General
I took a look at all the lower division pre-req's I will need for the minor in Biology, but where do I go when I am done them? Do I need to physically apply for it in person, or can this be done by email? thanks

    Q. How do I declare my major?

    A. Once you have completed your lower division core requirements, see the BISC advisor, Emelia Kirkwood to declare your major. To avoid waiting in line, we recommend that you arrange an appointment ahead of time by contacting the undergraduate assistant, Debbie Sandher, at 291-3551 or by e-mail at bisc-ugrad-pa@sfu.ca. Please bring a copy of your most recent unofficial transcript.

You can go on to go.sfu.ca and save a copy of your advising transcript, sorted by subject then email it to them (you may have to meet this adviser in person, but I did mine though email) and tell them what you want to declare!
