Finaly got a new computar!

edited March 2007 in General
what a treat to see videos with plenty of contrast, and surfing and using applications a helluva lot quicker!. The wide screen monitor kinda makes me dizzy for some reason, guess I am not use to it yet lol! anyone else experience that?

I can also re download the internet and virus protection from shaw again...3 months without out protection! you can imagine how slow an already slow P3 500 was. FYI if you have less than a 733 mhz computar, its really hard to get virus protection.

BTW TalkSFU looks really strange in wide screen:teeth:

I hope that makes sense, theirs a lot of unecessary specifications in there because I copied and pasted it from the website... I got it all for $2100 and it looks exactly like the new ones we got at school. But I'm sure the school got a better deal from dell because they bought like a thousand

Oh yea, if anyone is looking for a laptop there are some good "open box" deals on the site that I got this from.

    Core2 Duo, not too bad.

If you play any games though, might wanna invest in a better video card though.
