Daylight Time

edited March 2007 in General
I hate when the time is changed it mess up my schedule. America and canada change the time twice in a year. First they move their clocks ahead by one hour usually this happen on the first sunday of april and back an hour on last sunday of October.
But in 2007 it begin earlier and end later.
I heard they do this to save energy. As daylight save lots of electricity.
This system was introduced first in Germany then quickly followed by europe and canada.
Well how the time changed effect your life ?
cheers

I don't like it any more than you do. Of course, doing the sensible thing and just staying on standard time all year is a bit too much to contemplate, apparently.

Yea it does suck losing that hour, but the cool thing about it in the spring is that it stays light for an extra hour and everyday it stays light later and later.

and haha I cheated the daylight savings time clock by going to sleep AFTER the time change occured, so I went to bed at 4 and got up at 12...still got 8 hours sleep, was pretty nice.
