new events calendar?

Hey all,

What do you think about creating a new events calendar for SFU? I know there's currently one on this website, but unfortunately it doesn't include too many events.

Any ideas what should be included? or how it should be made? design? layout?

    SFSS has already tried to make one but it died out pretty fast

    They've had that one event on there since last semester so I guess they lost interest or something. Are you planning on making one yourself?

    Yes, you're right. I think it might have been unsuccessful because not enough people knew about it and not enough resources were put in.

    I am hoping to make one and implement it into mysfu, with the help of SFSS and other organizations. The goal is to have a marketing strategy for it and make it student-generated and student-run. Also, event planning information will be on it.

    What do you think? Any ideas, suggestions, comments?

    Thats a pretty good idea but definitely one that has been thought of before try to make yours different is my only suggestion good luck :)
