Umm I still remember my friend and I heading off to the mall every week while we were in the 11-12th grade and we didn't even get a call back after handing out so many resumes. Maybe the economy was bad back then.

Try applying at call centers (Rogers, Shaw, Bell, and banks) if you don't mind sitting and talking on the phone all day. Oh yeah, and the customer will probably bitch at you too for no reason. Some of them are apologetic though.

It's all about selling yourself. :teeth:

Make sure you have a really good resume and that you dress nicely (but not too nice) when you go to drop the resumes off. Also, try to give them directly to the manager. Employees may screen you out (I know I did when I worked in retail!) Also, be persistent, but not obnoxious. Go back again in two weeks!

Also you can ask at Customer Service for their book of who is hiring. Generally if they've taken the time to file with customer service, they are looking for someone ASAP.

    EVERYONE IS HIRING.

To say that you cannot find someone is a lie. Whenever I am out in public all I see is signs saying, "Now Hiring".

And if you truly cannot see these signs, then the Army Reserves is always hiring.

You just have to get out there... and make yourself a non generic resume for where you apply.

    right...or join the army
