Canvas grade different than goSFU?

Hi guys,
I got 94% as my final mark on canvas (including participation mark which was only a B).
The prof gave me a B on goSFU and he said he made a judgement call. My friend had 86% but was given an A. That’s because he was there more often.
Can a prof do that? My percentage is clearly 94% and canvas does the calculation based on the percentage per assignment, midterm or anything else.

    That seems strange, I would ask for a clear reason as to why he decided this...

    That doesn't seem right, can you talk to an advisor? I don't think a prof can arbitrarily assign grades like this, if a grading scheme has already been established.
