withdrew from course. count towards semester hours?

hey there, was wondering if a WD on my transcript, will count for the 3 semester hours it was supposed to if i had completed it. thanks if anyone knows

    I believe if you withdraw from a course it won't count towards any credit hours.

    Yeah, if you withdraw then it doesn't count!

    to confirm. it will be noted as WD on your your transcript and the credit hours will not count (seeing as you withdrew from the course and did not complete it)

    it's basically like you never took the course...only that you tried and something came up preventing you from completing it.
