Hi all

How about listing all the classes that you hate and why you hate them. This thread can tell students which classes to avoid!

    Professors to avoid:

    Y. Pankratz (Linguistics)
    - forgets what he's taught, amazingly disorganized
    - asks you to circle the WRONG answers on multiple choice tests (confusing and unnecessary)
    - difficult to understand
    - my marks improved by NOT going to lectures

    G. Iarocci (Psychology)
    - lecture consists of her repeating the entire textbook
    - argues with students and wastes classtime
    - episodes of SuperNanny were part of the curriculum
    - THE WORST final exam I've ever written: 190 multiple choice and 15 "short" answers

    - Boring, lectures basically taken from the textbook

    Chowzzer's mad because he failed the Lab Exam... and if you fail the lab exam, you fail the course. So it's a good thing to keep in mind and make sure you pass that exam!!

    Yeah, I know!! Tuition is expensive enough... why pay for stuff I can watch for FREE on Monday nights... jeez... :wink:

    Roman Onufrijchuk for CMNS 110 is pretty bad. I guess some people might like him... if you like unorganized lectures with no structure. For me, it was hell trying to stay awake and on task. The lectures seemed to have nothing to do with the readings. But I did end up with an A, and he did cancel the final exam (probably due to laziness).

    STATS fuckin blows... but helps you across the board if you understand it

    ugh cmpt 120! with Greg Baker.
    i was so lost in that class and i hardly got any help...

    CMNS 130W with Ian Chunn. i did really well in this class but i have to say i learned nothing from the lectures...and they were really boring. there was a month where i just didn't go, but it didn't make any difference at all.

    cmpt 120....but i still ended up with a B =)
