Do I need to go to tutorials in the first week?

I have a tutorial tomorrow but my lecture is on Friday... do i still need to go to the tutorial? 

Keep in mind nothing was said on Canvas.

    Can you ask on Canvas?  Usually tutorials start after the lecture...

    For the majority of classes, there are no tutorials the first week–either before or after the lecture. However, there are some exceptions as I have had a class where we had tutorials the first week. With the fact that your tutorial is before the lecture however, it is highly unlikely that there is a tutorial for this week.
