GPA friendly: Psyc 268 & SA 300

any tips for these courses?

- Psyc 268 with Deborah Connolly?
- SA 300 with Deborah Dergousoff?

I need to bring up my GPA....which course is better for it?

I cross referenced this and this which I believe shows the averages across 2014-2015 with some info I had from 2013-2014, and it's consistent to within a couple percent. They're pretty close, about 10% different: small enough that I'd decide based on other factors:
    • PSYC 268 is in Burnaby, SA 300 is downtown.
    • SA 300 has 2 textbooks, but they cost about the same as PSYC 268's one textbook.
    • PSYC 268 seems to be a lot of multiple choice questions, so do that if you're good at memorizing.
    • SA 300 has a written assignment worth a lot of the mark, less exam-based grade.
    • SA 300 has 15% based on a group presentation.
I'd go for PSYC, personally (especially cause based on RateMyProf the exams stick right onto the notes covered in class and she explicitely tells you what she'll be testing on). Just make sure you use flashcards. I swear by Quizlet.com for those, but I spend a looot of time driving, so it's nice being able to use the audio ones on repeat.
