Retaking Courses and Academic Standing

Let's say you retake a course that you failed and got somewhat of a better grade like D or C-.

Would that change your status to academic probation/required to withdraw since it wasn't a 2.0 gpa?

    D or C- is still below 2.0 but i'm sure if you retake a course sfu will choose the one where you did better
