Taking courses at another institution (TRU-OL)

I realize I'll have better luck with an advisor or someone from the registrar's office, but I thought I'd check in case anyone here has been in a similar situation. I'm transferring from Douglas to SFU this summer with transfer credit from two different institutions (Douglas and another university - I'm still under the 60 unit limit), but am also currently taking a self-paced course through TRU Open Learning (which is transferable according to the BC transfer guide).

I registered for this class before I received my acceptance to SFU, and I'm thinking that I can probably complete it before actually starting classes in May, so in theory it shouldn't be a problem (?). If, however, there isn't an exam time available next month I won't actually receive credit for the TRU-OL course until the beginning of June. Will SFU accept the transfer credit if I technically finished the course while also an SFU student? Should I be completing a request for a letter of permission? I didn't request permission before enrolling in the course because I didn't expect to be at SFU this soon, but now I seem to be a student at three different schools, and I don't know if that's going to blow my chances at a successful transfer.

Anyone have any insight to share? Thanks!
