Anyone here a Statistics major?

I'm planning on changing my major to Statistics, and was wondering what the required courses are for the degree?  I understand the internal transfer requirements, as they're very clear.  What I don't understand are the required courses for graduation.

The best resource according to my googling is this: https://www.stat.sfu.ca/content/dam/sfu/stat/documents/Synopsis Courses for students specializing in other disciplines-UpDate Sept16-2015.pdf, but it only shows ~14 courses for the major?  That seems a little low.  I've also looked at this: http://www.sfu.ca/students/calendar/2016/spring/programs/statistics/major/bachelor-of-science.html which indicates 21-24 courses, which seems rather low... right?

I also have a question on this:
  • In addition to the above requirements, students must also satisfy
Faculty of Science degree requirements to complete a minimum of 120
units including additional upper division units to total a minimum of 44
    upper division units.

Does this mean that the 44 upper division units can come from any major, or do they have to be a STAT course?

I'm ultimately looking for a graduation planning form similar to this one, but for the Statistics major.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think 21-24 courses seems rather low. Remember, these are just the courses as part of the major; it does not include the WQB requirement stuff and electives.

Yes, the 44 upper-division units can come from any major.

Disclaimer: I'm not a Stats major.
