HSCI 120 Kate Salters Question

Has anyone taken this class and done the midterm / final? The book is very lengthy and I'd rather not memorize or study a lot of stuff that will not be asked. Can anyone confirm whether taking notes in lecture and using the slides is good enough to do well?

    She's still teaching that class? OH MY GOODNESS YOU'RE SO LUCKY. That is my future wife ok you better do well in that course. 

    Focus more on lecture, a lot of the information in the book did not always coincide with her lectures and she explicitly acknowledged it.
