Help needed: afternoon childcare for 8-year-old boy, Univercity
We're looking for someone to pick up our 8-year-old son from University Highlands Elementary and then supervise him at our home in Univercity from 3-5 pm, weekdays starting on September 9 (preferably 5 days a week, but 3 or 4 would work as well). He's mostly self-sufficient so half the time you can study or relax while he does his daily music practice and plays on the iPad; the rest of the time he'll want to play with you--sports and hiking outside or board games inside.
Because this job is part-time on Burnaby mountain, it is best suited for a student living in Univercity or Residence, or for someone taking morning/midday classes who can make the 10 minute walk from campus to the elementary school in the afternoon.
$15/hour.
