Distance ed take home exams

I'm thinking of taking a distance education course, and the midterm is a take home one. However, I live far from Burnaby and time stated is 7-8 pm, and that too in the winter. Does this mean we pick up the exam at this time or drop it off? Also can we only pick or drop it off in this time frame? Would it be possible to pick or drop it off at an earlier time?

Anyone with distance ed take home exam experience pls help lol

In the past when I have had take home test in online courses the exam was treated pretty much as an assignment. It was posted online, it had a due date, and you submitted it online by the due date. 

I don't think the time posted is actually the time for the take home test. I think every exam just has to have a stated time.
