English 199?

I want to work on my writing skills as I pulled a C+ in English 101 this term. Is English 199 any good? I really need to boost my GPA as well- would it be considered a GPA booster? If not, I'd rather take it another term when I'm not taking as many courses. Thanks!

    ENGL 199W is probably the hardest of the introductory English classes. It's a useful class, but difficult to get a high grade. The workload is pretty dense compared to the other English classes as well.
