Linguistics 100 with Yourie Pankratz?

Should you be okay with just studying his lecture notes? I am reluctant to buy the textbook because people say I should be able to do well with just his lecture notes. Is it true? Textbooks are so expensive so I don't want to buy it if I don't need to...

    Yes definitely. But if you don't truly understand them, you will not do well. So pay attention in class and ask questions. Make sure you truly understand it.
