Wait list question

I am on the wait list for a class and am spot 5.

Now the allowed wait list is 5.

Does that mean I will get the class or should I try for something else?

I would wait. Some people are likely to drop the class within the first week. You can look for something else if you want to and then drop the waitlisted class if you don't need it anymore.

I would personally look for another class, stay on the waitlist and then take the $50 penalty for dropping a class (after a certain cut-off). Considering SFU's horrid enrollment process and lack of classes, it would be better to just get that penalty as well as the class that you want. Good luck, hopefully you'll get into the class!

Thanks. It will be interesting, I just looked now, and the two other sections are now open for wait,it's, so there seems to be some movement.
