BISC 102: Biological Sciences 2nd Ed. (Freeman)

I was wondering if buying the BISC 102 textbook is worth it (it's basically $170) because I've heard it's not useful...

So whoever has taken this course, is the textbook worth buying?

    most intro sciences don't rely heavily on the textbook. just look at the lecture notes..but you could probably find the text online for free if you know how to download free stuff.
